The project will sequence size-fractionated DNAs digested by the restriction enzyme AluI from up to 30 gorilla individuals (Western and Eastern gorillas) using the Illumina Hiseq platform. The AluI fragments will cover ~13% of the gorilla genome and each library will be sequenced to a high depth (>30x) This data is part of a pre-publication release.
