Derived from tables within geoscientific literature, we utilized our advanced automated tabular data collection tool to extract data from 3,959 geoscientific articles specifically focusing on Sm-Nd isotopes, out of an extensive repository of over 20,000 geoscientific publications. All the samples referenced are igneous rocks, and the data originates from peer-reviewed sources. To streamline the data extraction process, a team of experts curated a list of 25 pertinent keywords, encompassing terms such as Sm, 143 Nd/144 Nd, and Pluton/Formation. The file titled "Sm-Nd data collection (automated).xls" encapsulates the outcomes of the automated extraction, while "Sm-Nd data collection (annotation).xls" documents human annotations for 2,118 selected entries from the automated dataset, subjected to meticulous human evaluation. Other files are our previously construed Sm-Nd isotope dataset under repository of https://doi.org/10. 6084/m9.figshare.22345072.v1.
