This map provides an estimation of the inherent fertility of soils in NSW. It uses the best available soils and natural resource mapping developed for the Land and Soil Capability (LSC) dataset.\r\n\r\nThe mapping describes soil fertility in NSW according to a five class system outlined below:\r\n\r\n* Low (1)\r\n* Moderately low (2)\r\n* Moderate (3)\r\n* Moderately high (4)\r\n* High (5)\r\n\r\nIt was derived from a lookup table system linking a fertility class to a particular soil type (Great Soil Group), which was then attributed for each soil map unit (see Table 1 in data package).\r\n\r\n__Online Maps:__ This dataset can be viewed using eSPADE (NSW’s soil spatial viewer), which contains a suite of soil and landscape information including soil profile data. Many of these datasets have hot-linked soil reports. 本地图对新南威尔士州(New South Wales, NSW)土壤的固有肥力进行评估,所用数据源自为土地与土壤能力(Land and Soil Capability, LSC)数据集开发的最优现有土壤与自然资源制图成果。
本制图依据下述五级分类体系,对新南威尔士州土壤肥力进行分级:
* 低(1)
* 中低(2)
* 中等(3)
* 中高(4)
* 高(5)
该分级体系基于查询表构建,将肥力等级与特定土壤类型(土壤大类,Great Soil Group)进行关联,并为每个土壤制图单元赋予对应属性(详见数据包中的表1)。
__在线地图:__ 本数据集可通过eSPADE(新南威尔士州土壤空间可视化工具)查看,该工具集成了包括土壤剖面数据在内的多套土壤与景观信息,其中多数数据集附带可直接跳转的土壤报告。替代可视化工具为SEED Map,其可便捷查询该制图区域内可获取的其他自然资源数据集(如植被相关数据)。
