This study investigates the genetic basis of acute low-temperature stress resilience in olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) using a genome-wide association study (GWAS) combined with genomic prediction approaches. High-density SNP genotype data and phenotypic stress response records were analyzed to identify novel candidate genes associated with cold stress tolerance. In addition, multiple genomic models were evaluated and optimized to improve the prediction accuracy of low-temperature stress resilience. The raw genotype and phenotype datasets provided here support the reproducibility of the analyses and future genetic improvement efforts in aquaculture.
