Transcriptomics and metabolomics were combined, and the physiology and histology were evaluated to elucidate the mechanism through which the gills of Acanthopagrus latus adapt to saline-alkaline water.This study provides reliable data on the mechanism of gill adaptation to saline-alkaline water, further promoting saline-alkaline water resource use and development.
