We consider a laminar diffusion flame as a result of reaction between methane and oxygen, which enter our computational domain from an inner and annular region, respectively.We have added a (sinusoidal) time-dependent source term, signifying 'g-jitter', in the across the flow momentum equation.The two films attached here were made at two different time speeds. The source term changes direction every half cycle, which in turn changes the flame direction. Due to these sudden changes, we observed significant flame flutter. <br>
本研究以甲烷与氧气发生反应生成的层流扩散火焰(laminar diffusion flame)为研究对象,二者分别从内通道与环形通道进入计算域(computational domain)。我们在横向流动方向的动量方程中添加了一项表征重力微抖动(g-jitter)的正弦型随时间变化源项。本文所附的两段影像以不同的时间倍率录制。该源项每半个周期便会改变一次方向,进而使火焰的传播方向发生改变。受此类突变影响,我们观测到了显著的火焰颤振现象。
