Lake survey 13C sculpin data

A lake survey was conducted in 2009 to evaluate 13C of slimy sculpin as a proxy for methane-derived carbon routed to the pelagic zone via fish feeding on benthic invertebrates. Fish were collected using collapsible minnow traps or d-nets deployed from shore. Samples for 13C analysis were taken from fin clips, which were then dried and sent for stable isotope analysis at Northern Arizona State University.
