Expert annotated radiology Reports for Knee OAI dataset

This dataset provides 255 manually annotated radiology reports corresponding to knee X-ray scans from the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI). The original imaging data (DICOM format) is not included here and can be obtained from the official OAI website [1]. The reports are evenly distributed across the five Kellgren\u2013Lawrence (KL) grades of osteoarthritis, with 51 reports per grade, enabling balanced analysis across disease severity levels.The dataset is designed to support research in radiology report generation and other natural language processing (NLP) tasks, particularly for tasks such as: (i) training and evaluating NLP\/multimodal models on radiology text, (ii) linking textual annotations with OAI imaging data, and (iii) developing clinical decision support and automated diagnosis methods for knee osteoarthritis (KOA).
