Community Observatory: Ice Profile Data from Cambridge Bay, Canada, deployed August 2016

Ocean Networks Canada (ONC) is a not-for-profit society that operates and manages innovative cabled observatories on behalf of the University of Victoria that supply continuous power and Internet connectivity to various scientific instruments located in coastal, deep-ocean, and Arctic environments. The data were collected as a part of the Community Observatory project in Cambridge Bay in an effort to improve understanding of physical and bio-geochemical processes related to marine ecosystems and how these affect local communities.加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada, ONC）是一家非营利性机构，受维多利亚大学委托运营并管理创新性的缆线接驳式观测站，为部署在沿海、深海及北极环境中的各类科学仪器提供持续供电与互联网连接服务。本次数据集的数据采集自剑桥湾社区观测项目，旨在增进对与海洋生态系统相关的物理及生物地球化学过程，以及此类过程对当地社区的影响的理解。
