Oxidative stress plays a pivotal role in age-related diseases, including oxidative aging, by promoting cellular damage and dysfunction. In this study, we performed transcriptome sequencing to identify mRNA markers and pathways associated with oxidative aging in human lens epithelial cells (LECs). Through bioinformatics analysis, key mRNAs involved in oxidative stress response, mitochondrial dysfunction, and aging were significantly altered.
