This repository contains the code and data for the paper 'The pan-tropical age distribution of regenerating tropical moist forest'. Bousfield, C.G., Edwards, D.P. Nat Ecol Evol (2025). https://doi.org/10.1038/s41559-025-02721-8 The analysis for this paper was done using a mixture of Google Earth Engine (GEE) and RStudio (4.4). The raster files for the age of regenerating tropical moist forest are supplied individually for each of the three tropical regions (Americas, Africa, Asia-Pacific) at 30m resolution, and represent the age of regenerating tropical moist forest (as per the JRC TMF) in each cell in the year 2023.
