Nlrp12-/- mice host a dysbiotic microbiome associated with increased intestinal inflammation. We cohoused the Nlrp12-/- mice with wild type mice, or treated the Nlrp12-/- mice with Infliximab (anti-TNF)and Tocilizumab (anti-IL6r), and then found the dysbiosis can be reversed and with improved disease symptoms and increased Lachnospiraceae. Based on the finding, we treated 23 Lachnospiraceae strains back to the Nlrp12-/- and found the strains treatment was beneficial to the Nlrp12-/- mice.
