Dataset of high-frequency key abiotic factors (temperature, oxygen, salinity) in the tropical Cayenne estuary (French Guiana)

Temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen were collected over approximately four years (from January 1, 2020, to March 31, 2024) using three HOBO probes (U20L-01, U24-001 and U26-001). As part of their operational process, the three probes also recorded temperature (-2-36°C, ± 0.1°C at 25°C accuracy). Salinity (0–10,000 μS/cm, ±3% accuracy) and dissolved oxygen (0–20 mg/L, ±0.2 mg/L accuracy up to 8 mg/L) measurements were corrected to compensate for temperature automatically.
To ensure consistency, all measurements from the three probes were resampled to a 20-minute time step by averaging the surrounding values within each interval. At each site, temperature readings from the three probes showed high similarity, allowing the creation of a single averaged temperature dataset per site.
Aberrant values considered outside the expected environmental range (temperatures exceeding 37°C or below 23°C, oxygen concentrations greater than 10 mg·L⁻¹ or below 0 mg·L⁻¹, and salinities above 35 ppt or below 0 ppt), were removed from the data set.

本数据集采集了2020年1月1日至2024年3月31日共计约四年的温度、盐度与溶解氧观测数据，所用设备为三台HOBO探头（型号分别为U20L-01、U24-001及U26-001）。作为运行流程的一部分，三台探头同步记录温度数据，其测量范围为-2℃至36℃，25℃工况下的测量精度为±0.1℃；盐度测量范围为0~10000 μS/cm，测量精度为±3%；溶解氧测量范围为0~20 mg/L，当测量值不超过8 mg/L时，测量精度为±0.2 mg/L。所有盐度与溶解氧的测量值均会自动根据环境温度完成校正。为保障数据一致性，所有三台探头的原始观测数据均被重采样为20分钟时间步长的序列，重采样方法为对每个时间区间内的周边采样值取算术平均。在每个监测站点，三台探头采集的温度数据具有高度一致性，因此可针对每个站点生成单一组温度均值数据集。针对超出预期环境范围的异常值（温度高于37℃或低于23℃、溶解氧浓度高于10 mg/L或低于0 mg/L、盐度高于35 ppt或低于0 ppt），已从本数据集中予以剔除。
