Transcriptome sequencing of powdery mildew resistant and susceptible to bitter melon infection

RNA-seq technology was used to analyze the differentially expressed genes and their functions and key signal transduction pathways in the incompatible and compatible interaction systems between Momordica charantia and powdery mildew, and to explore the molecular mechanism of bitter melon in response to powdery mildew infection, which expanded the powdery mildew resistance gene resources for the cultivation of new varieties of Momordica charantia.
