Adult mosquitoes were fed blood containing 1e7 PFU WNV (kunjin strain) containing +/- 170 pM bovine insulin for 24 h. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for WNV-infected adult mosquitoes +/- insulin. Raw gene expression data was used to determine the effect of insulin on Culex responses during WNV infection.
