We sequenced the 16S rRNA V3 + V4 region of gut bacteria of nine grasshopper species by high-throughput sequencing and performed a series of statistical analyses to achieve three purposes: (1) describe the composition and difference of bacterial Communities Structure in different grasshoppers; (2) predictions the function of these gut bacteria; (3) analyze the causes of the different composition of gut bacteria in different grasshoppers.
