Number and percent of households that reported using any tap water for the following purposes during the various water advisories (n = 771 households) associated with an outbreak of salmonellosis, Alamosa, Colorado 2008.

*During the bottled water advisory, residents were told to use bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and dishwashing but that if no bottled water was available they could boil their water.†During the Do Not Use order, while the distribution system was being hyperchlorinated, residents were told to only use their tap water for flushing toilets.‡During the boil water advisory, residents were told to boil their water before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth.*瓶装水供应警示（bottled water advisory）期间，居民被告知需使用瓶装水进行饮水、烹饪、刷牙及餐具清洗；若无瓶装水可供使用，则可将水煮沸后使用。†在禁用令（Do Not Use order）实施期间，当供水配水系统正在接受超氯化处理（hyperchlorinated）时，居民仅可使用自来水冲洗马桶。‡煮沸饮水警示（boil water advisory）期间，居民需将水煮沸后，方可将其用于饮水、烹饪或刷牙。
