Transcriptomic profiling of germline capsule, bacteriocytes, and early-stage eggs in Camponotus floridanus

This projects characterizes gene expression patterns in Camponotus floridanus carrying endosymbiont across key developmental contexts. We dissected the germline capsule and associated bacteriocyte tissues at stage-8 & collected whole eggs at stage-4 for high-throughput RNA sequencing. These datasets allow a comparative analysis of tissue-specific and stage-specific gene expression, with a focus on germline-symbiont interactions and developmental progression.
