Non-surgical management for root perforation sealing clinical: Case Report

Root perforations and removal of fiberglass intra-radicular anchors are a challenge for the endodontic clinician. Current advances have made it possible to improve techniques when these types of complexities arise. A 58-year-old woman with no medical history comes to the clinic whose main complaint was pain to the touch and chewing, who presented a root perforation in the middle third of an endodontically treated tooth on radiographic examination. On clinical examination, the patient presented pain on percussion and no response to thermal tests. Periapical radiographs were taken at different angles to locate the perforation. The perforation was sealed with MTA, root anchor removal with ultrasound and endodontic retreatment
