Epithelial CD133+ and CD133- cells from fetal liver (E13.5), regenerating liver (induced by 0.1% DDC diet), hydrodynamic tail vein (HTV)-delivered NRasV12+Myr-AKT proto-oncogenes-driven HCC tumors and inflammation/cirrhosis-associated DEN+CCl4 HCC tumors were sorted by flow cytometry and subsequently analyzed by bulk RNA-seq to identify altered genes that are specific or preferentially expressed in CD133+ HCC cells and not CD133+ normal liver cells.
