Quantitative Authorship Attribution and the Bakhtin circle: the Problem of Authorship in Intellectual Communities (stylometry data)

The data presented in this dataset are the result of calculations performed using the `stylo` package for R on several research corpora.

This study aims to provide a stylometric answer to the "Bakhtin question"—the problem of authorship of texts signed by V. N. Voloshinov, P. N. Medvedev, and I. I. Kanaev.

The presence of the "school effect", that is, stylistic consistency within academic groups, is tested using data from four intellectual communities: the Geneva School, the Moscow Phonological School (as interpreted by V. M. Alpatov), ​​Jena Romanticism, and OPOYAZ.
