We have collected tumour tissues from mice that develop lung and blood cancers. We plan to exome sequence the tumours from these mice in an effort to define the mutational landscape of these tumours and identify novel cancer genes. We will perform exome capture using Agilent SureSelect system, followed by sequencing on the HiSeq platform. Our study has the potential to uncover genes important for cancer development and novel therapeutic strategies. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
