Data and Code on Escape behavior of ant cricket
收藏资源简介:
This item contains data and code relating to the following paper. Title: Switching escape strategies in the parasitic ant cricket Myrmecophilus tetramorii Authors: Ryoya Tanaka, Yuki Mitaka, Daigo Takemoto, Mitsuhiko P. Sato, Azusa Kamikouchi, Yoshinori Suzuki This paper investigated the escape strategy of the parasitic ant cricket Myrmecophilus tetramorii Ichikawa (Orthoptera, Myrmecophilidae) toward its host and non-host ant workers. This paper identified two escape strategies with distinct trajectory characteristics by clustering analysis. Distancing: high-speed straight movement away from the ants for emergency avoidance. Dodging: circular escape movement to get behind the ants under low-threat conditions. For data and code for behavioral analysis, see the ‘Behavioral_and_Simulation’ folder. For GC-MS analysis dataset, see the ‘GC-MS’ folder.
