Amphibian functional trait dataset from old-growth forests and agroforests in northeastern Madagascar

This dataset contains species-level functional trait information used to analyse amphibian functional diversity and trait–environment relationships across old-growth forests and agroforests in northeastern Madagascar. Traits include stratum use, behaviour, reproductive mode and tadpole trait. Trait assignments were based on literature, field observations, and field measurements. For poorly known taxa lacking species-specific information, some categorical traits were inferred from closely related congeners.本数据集包含物种级功能性状信息，用于分析马达加斯加东北部原始林与农林复合系统中的两栖动物功能多样性及性状-环境关联关系。所涵盖的性状包括层位利用、行为模式、繁殖方式以及蝌蚪性状。性状赋值依据文献资料、野外观测与实地测量完成。对于缺乏物种特异性信息的认知程度较低的类群，部分分类性状由其近缘同属物种推断得到。
