Mapping the cellular landscape of Atlantic salmon head kidney by single cell and single nucleus transcriptomics

Comparison of two single cell transcriptomic approaches to investigate cellular heterogeneity within the head kidney of healthy farmed Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) Overall design: Head kidney samples from two Atlantic salmon were utilized for single-cell RNA sequencing (sc), while two samples were used for single-nucleus RNA sequencing (sn). Single cells and nuclei were isolated accordingly. Libraries were generated using the 10x Genomics platform, and sequencing was performed using Illumina NextSeq500 (sc) and NovaSeq 6000 (sn) for paired-end reads.
