<b>Species-level studies fail to predict plant-soil feedbacks in diverse plant communities</b>

Our study revealed that when soil was conditioned by more than four species, community-level PSFs were dominated by specific species rather than being an aggregation of single-species PSFs. This pattern may occur because rhizosphere fungal communities are co-influenced by both host and neighbouring species diversity.本研究发现，当土壤经4种以上物种驯化后，群落水平的植物-土壤反馈（Plant-Soil Feedback，PSF）以特定物种为主导，而非单物种植物-土壤反馈的简单叠加。该现象的成因或为：根际真菌群落同时受到宿主物种与邻体物种多样性的共同调控。
