Code and Dataset for Social Side Effects Analysis. The package includes the Data collected and the R Code used to analyse such data. All information about the code can be found in the file "_Metadata_Code_Chapter5"; all information about the data can be found in the file "_Metadata_Data_Chapter 5". The data is collected in order to conduct an assessment of the social side effects of mitigation measures. The data has been collected through a comprehensive literature review of case studies across European municipalities, resulting in a set of qualitative and text data (secondary data). In order to conduct the comprehensive literature review, 188 mitigation measures have been grouped in 53 groups, according to their similarity. The files "Database_Groupings.xlsx" and "List_Measures_Group.xlsx" provides the full list and details of such a process. The complete literature review can be found in the file "SIA Assessment_Final.xlsx". The data has been qualitatively assessed by the authors, and submited to an expert elicitation process. The final results can be found in the "_Explanations" sheet in the "SIA Assessment_Final.xlsx". The results has been processed in order to obtain a summary and a visual overview. The file "Geographical distribution.xlsx" contains the geographical data of the case studies that have been revised. The file "_PlotTable.xlsx" contains a coloured summary of the main results. Such a summary has been further processed to create a summary image. The code for obtaining such image can be found in the file "plot.R".
