DSV Alvin composite scanning sonar bathymetry grids from East Pacific Rise (EPR) 9°50N

This data set includes 0.5 m resolution gridded bathymetry data that were acquired with an Imagenex 881 Scanning Sonar on the HOV Alvin during multiple dives and expeditions. Data were acquired in 2004: AT-11-07, AT-11-10, AT-11-13, AT-11-20 and 2005: AT-11-26. Data were assembled and integrated as part of the 2006 EPR_9N_Ferrini data compilation (Lead Scientist: Dr. Vicki Ferrini). This data set includes gridded bathymetry data files are of NetCDF Grid format and MATLAB binary files that contain XYZ points as well as gridded data. These data were described by Ferrini et al., 2007.
