Establishment and identification of an embryonic cell line of Chinese sturgeon (Acipenser sinensis) and its application in germplasm conservation and disease resistance

The Chinese sturgeon (Acipenser sinensis) is a first-class protected wildlife species in China and a living fossil, often referred to as the "Giant Panda of the waters". Currently, research on Acipenser sinensis primarily focuses on morphology and reproductive biology, with relatively limited studies in cellular biology. This study established the first Acipenser sinensis embryonic cell line (ASE48h) derived from 48-hour neurula stage embryos of Acipenser sinensis.
