This dataset contains raw mass spectrometry data generated in the course of studying the proteolytic effector Cpe1 and its substrates. Specifically, it includes: Proteome-wide analysis of Cpe1Bpa-crosslinked complexes using LC-MS/MS, aimed at identifying proteins in close proximity to or interacting with Cpe1. MALDI-TOF results showing the cleavage fragments of GyrB and ParE after in vitro treatment with Cpe1, supporting substrate identification and cleavage site mapping. LC-MS/MS analysis of Cpe1-cleaved GyrB and ParE fragments, providing high-resolution data for peptide identification and further confirmation of Cpe1’s proteolytic activity and specificity. All data were generated to support the biochemical characterization of Cpe1’s substrate profile and cleavage mechanism. The files are provided in their raw formats for transparency and reanalysis.
