This technical report presents the FANM (Personal Neural Carrier Frequency) system and method — a novel approach for measuring and utilizing an individual’s intrinsic cortical rhythm within the alpha band (6–14 Hz). Electroencephalographic (EEG) data analyzed from BNCI Horizon 2020 datasets demonstrate a stable personal carrier frequency (fc ≈ 9.63 Hz, ICC ≈ 0.92). This intrinsic frequency enables design of individualized adaptive neurofeedback and neural resonance protocols for cognitive, behavioral, and emotional modulation. The invention has implications for personalized neurotechnology, neurotherapy, and brain–computer interfacing.
