Parkes observations for project P885 semester 2021OCTS_01

We request a reduced monitoring cadence for the magnetars 1E 1547.0-5408 and Swift J1818.0-1607 to once every 10 days, to track their rotation, flux density, and polarisation. Swift J1818.0-1607 remains very dynamic, and the unique UWL capabilities promise new opportunities to probe still mysterious radio emission mechanisms in magnetars. Our timing results indicate that 1E 1547.0-5408 is currently a more stable rotator, supporting the diminished cadence. We will observe XTE J1810-197 and PSR J1622-4950 less frequently, to complement monitoring elsewhere. The overall request is 18 hours.

我们请求将两颗磁星（magnetars）1E 1547.0-5408与斯威夫特（Swift）J1818.0-1607的监测频次降至每10天一次，以追踪它们的自转特性、流量密度与偏振状态。斯威夫特J1818.0-1607目前仍处于高度活跃状态，其独特的UWL性能为探索磁星中尚未完全明晰的射电辐射机制提供了全新机遇。我们的计时观测结果表明，1E 1547.0-5408当前自转状态更为稳定，这也支持降低其监测频次的请求。我们将降低对XTE J1810-197与脉冲星（Pulsar）PSR J1622-4950的观测频次，以补充其他区域的监测工作。本次申请的总观测时长为18小时。
