Data: Factors influencing non-hospital transport in suicidal ideation and attempt: A study in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea

EMS pre-hospital dispatch records were collected from January 2019 to December 2020 for patients who requested EMS with suicidal the EMS for suicidal ideation or attemptor attempts.Demographic variables encompass age, sex, and foreigner status. Time-related variables include the COVID-19 period and the EMS call time, factors related to presenting suicide behavior involve examining the individual's mental state at the scene, the location of the suicide attempt, and the method used (classified into categories such as hanging, gas inhalation, jumping, drug overdose, cutting, pesticide/caustic ingestion, or other methods).

本数据集采集了2019年1月至2020年12月期间，因自杀意念或自杀未遂请求急救医疗服务（Emergency Medical Services，EMS）的患者的院前调度记录。数据集包含三类变量：其一为人口统计学变量，涵盖年龄、性别与外籍身份；其二为时间相关变量，包括新冠疫情阶段与EMS呼叫时间；其三为与自杀相关行为相关的变量，涉及现场评估的患者精神状态、自杀未遂发生地点及所采用的自杀方式，该方式可分类为悬吊、吸入有毒气体、跳楼、药物过量、割伤、摄入农药/腐蚀性物质或其他方式。
