Triathlon in Australia Open Data Set

Dr Hunt first started researching and compiling her book Multisport dreaming: The Foundations of triathlon in Australia in 2010. The book was launched at Bond University 20 June 2014 and chronicles the evolution of triathlon in Australia which is full of triumphs and ‘firsts’. Australia hosted the first Olympic triathlon, the first fully professional race series and has produced wave after wave of age group and elite International Triathlon Union (ITU) and Ironman world champions.

Over the course of the project Dr Hunt conducted over 200 interviews and gathered a unique set of data on the topic in the form of audio and video interviews, newsletters, articles, race results, administrative records and photos from across Australia.

Data may be entirely openly accessible or partially available depending on copyright or licencing restrictions.

亨特博士于2010年启动研究并编撰《多元运动之梦：澳大利亚铁人三项的根基》(Multisport dreaming: The Foundations of triathlon in Australia)一书。该书于2014年6月20日在邦德大学(Bond University)正式发布，全程记述了澳大利亚铁人三项运动的发展脉络，书中囊括了众多突破性成就与“首个”标志性事件。澳大利亚承办了首届奥运会铁人三项赛事、首个全职业铁人三项系列赛，并且孕育了一代又一代年龄组及精英组国际铁人三项联盟(International Triathlon Union, ITU)与Ironman铁人三项世界冠军。

在本项目推进过程中，亨特博士共完成200余场访谈，并收集了一套独特的主题数据集，资料覆盖澳大利亚各地的音视频访谈素材、通讯刊物、学术文章、赛事成绩、行政档案及影像照片。

根据版权或授权限制条款，本数据集可完全公开获取，或仅可部分访问。
