The main reason respondents used on-demand services in 2019 was to catch up on content from the previous week. A third (34 percent) used on-demand services to browse for new content, and 28 percent used on-demand services to watch something recommended. Some of the most popular video on demand (VoD) services in the United Kingdom (UK) include Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, and Amazon Prime Video.
