资源简介:

Ceramic lid fragment from Calatrava la Vieja, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Islamic almohad period (1195-1212 CE). This artifact was found in the 2008 excavations in the south-east sector of the medina, next to the western wall of the alcázar. It is a medium sized lid with hemispherical body, horizontal projection serving as a stop, ring foot for easy fitting, and central handle. Its outer face is decorated with curved grooves and covered with green glaze. This kind of pieces were used to cover containers of very varied forms and functions: pans, jars, pots, jugs... In this case, due to its size, decoration and glazed surface, it probably served to cover pieces of tableware. Catalog No. CV 08 26 783 121. Processed and modeled in Reality Capture from 147 photos.
