Whole Genome Sequencing analysis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates from the North Central region of Nigeria

Efforts to eliminate tuberculosis (TB) are being challenged by an inadequate understanding of the underlying transmission dynamics. Our study presents a clearer picture of the dominant human-adapted lineages and evolutionary parameters that impact TB transmission in Nigeria. This can aid the successful implementation of TB management interventions in Nigeria.
