The Gender Height Survey

The purpose of this lab was to conduct an in-lab data collecting practice with lab mates, learn how to write meta-data, and practice publishing data on Figshare. Group members included Muhammad Akram, Daniel Germani, and Markian Plawiuk. The data collection was completed at the Lumbers building at York University on the Keele campus, in room 118. Data was collected by surveying subjects on their self-reported approximate height, as well as noting the gender the subjects self-identified as.本实验旨在与实验室同伴开展室内数据采集实操练习，学习元数据（meta-data）的撰写规范，并掌握在Figshare平台发布数据集的实操流程。本次实验小组的成员包括Muhammad Akram、Daniel Germani与Markian Plawiuk。数据采集工作于约克大学（York University）基尔校区（Keele campus）的Lumbers大楼118号房间内完成。本次数据采集采用问卷调查形式，收集受试者自行报告的近似身高，并记录其自我认同的性别身份。
