Core E87-32B spans a sediment record of approximately 37 kyr, covering MIS 3 to MIS 1, retrieved from the middle Bengal Fan in the Bay of Bengal. This dataset includes four data types. First, geochemical and physical property data (4 cm resolution) comprising total organic carbon (TOC, %), total nitrogen (TN, %), stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes (δ13C and δ15N, ‰), TOC/TN molar ratio, dry bulk density (g cm-3), bulk mass accumulation rate (g cm-2 ka-1), TOC mass accumulation rate (mg cm-2 ka-1), titanium dioxide (TiO2, %), biogenic barium (Babio, mg/kg), and thorium/uranium ratio (Th/U). Second, Monte Carlo three-end-member mixing model outputs (median, minimum, and maximum fractional contributions) for marine organic matter (Fmar), terrestrial C3-derived organic matter (FC3), and terrestrial C4-derived organic matter (FC4). Third, pollen and spore data (2 and 4 cm resolution), including absolute pollen concentration (grains/g), relative abundances of conifer, broadleaved, herbaceous, mangrove, fern spore, freshwater algae, and fungal taxa, as well as grouped C3 and C4 (or mixed) pollen concentrations. Fourth, sliding Pearson correlation coefficients (5-point moving window, ~0.5–1 ka resolution) between TOC and pollen proxies, between TOC and inorganic proxies (TiO2, Babio, Th/U), and between δ13C and pollen proxies.
