Import of vegetable oils and fats in Morocco 2010-2021

In 2021, around 655 thousand metric tons of vegetable fats and oils were imported to Morocco. This represented an decrease compared to the previous year, when the imports exceeded 700 thousand metric tons. During the period observed, the quantity of imports generally increased, peaking in 2019. Overall, vegetable oils and fats represented a larger proportion of imports into the country compared to animal fats and oils imported.
