The aim of the study was to decipher transmission routes of multidrug resistant enterobacteria in a broiler experimental facility. Feces and caeal content were collected from more than 300 animals belonging to 11 chicken families followed for 3 generations in two breeding environments. Environmental samples before animal's entry were also collected. Samples were used to isolate Gram-negative bacteria on selective media for genomic analyses, or to extract total DNA for metagenomic analyses.
