Segmentation is a critical step for numerous computational spinal imaging tasks. Clinical datasets pose numerous challenges for automated methods, while ground truth annotations are often scarce. To advance and facilitate research on this topic, we present a database of 10 spinal CT scans with manual segmentations of the thoracic and lumbar vertebrae. This dataset can be used for the development, training, and testing of spinal segmentation algorithms. Additional datasets will be provided for the evaluation phase of the challenge.
