Systemic chemotherapy in metastatic TNBC polarizes effector T cell differentiation

In this study, the dynamic changes in the immune landscape in metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC) were assessed and compared with healthy donors using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) analysis. This study is the first to provide potential diagnostic and therapeutic targets of East Asian chemotherapy-treated mTNBC with regard to effector T cells. Overall design: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) of two patients with mTNBC and two healthy donors were obtained from a clinical study. ScRNA-seq libraries were prepared using the Chromium Single Cell 3' v3.1 platform (10X Genomics) according to the manufacturer's protocol.
