Data underlying the publication: Estimating the Occurrence of Slow Slip Events and Earthquakes with an Ensemble Kalman Filter

Time series from perfect model experiments of an Ensemble Kalman Filter over a 1D model producing slow-slip events and earthquakes. The observations are shear stress and velocity at a single location aqay from the fault. The time series include the evolution of the shear stress, velocity and state theta at the fault and at the observation location. The prior, perturbed observations and posterior of every analysis step of the data assimilation are provided.

本数据集源自针对可生成慢滑事件（slow-slip events）与地震的一维模型开展的集合卡尔曼滤波（Ensemble Kalman Filter）完美模型实验所得到的时间序列。观测数据取自断层外单个位置处的剪应力（shear stress）与运动速度（velocity）。该时间序列涵盖断层及观测位置处的剪应力、运动速度与状态变量θ的演化过程。本数据集同时提供了数据同化（data assimilation）各分析步的验前信息、扰动观测结果与验后分布。
