Long non-coding RNA of minipig and pig breeds

We investigated the regulatory roles of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in minipigs by identifying lncRNAs and conducting comparative transcriptomic analyses using RNA-seq data of five tissues (heart, kidney, liver, lung, and spleen) of minipigs (Korean and Bama minipigs) and pigs (Duroc and Landrace). Through these comparative analyses, we identified lncRNAs associated with biological processes linked to the shared traits of minipigs in contrast to pigs. Additionally, we uncovered the gene regulatory mechanisms of lncRNAs specific to each tissue in minipigs and identified various biological pathways influenced by these mechanisms.

本研究旨在探究长链非编码RNA（long non-coding RNAs，lncRNAs）在小型猪中的调控作用，通过获取小型猪（朝鲜小型猪、巴马小型猪）与家猪（杜洛克猪、兰德瑞斯猪）5种组织（心脏、肾脏、肝脏、肺脏、脾脏）的RNA测序（RNA-seq）数据，开展lncRNA鉴定与比较转录组学分析。通过上述比较分析，本研究鉴定出与小型猪相较于家猪共有的性状相关的生物学过程关联的lncRNAs。此外，本研究还揭示了小型猪各组织特异性lncRNA的基因调控机制，并鉴定出受此类机制影响的多种生物学通路。
