Subsistence Areas in Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russian Federation. Version 1.0

This dataset consists of shapefile format files for mapserver that provide information on the subsistence areas of the indigenous peoples in Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia. Data on the environment and activities of the indigenous people are collected via satellite imagery, published sources, and surveys given to the people and are used to populate a GIS database. This dataset is part of the Pacific Marine Arctic Regional Synthesis (PacMARS) Project.
