This small stone projectile point with pronounced corner notches is known as a Kirk Corner-Notched. Kirk points were used as spear or dart points and date to the Early Archaic period (c. 7000-6000 BC). Kirk points are closely related to the slightly earlier Palmer Corner-Notched point and are usually distinguished based on their larger size and more pronounced tangs. This artifact was found at a multi-component site (31WA2199) in eastern Wake County, NC and is made from a metavolcanic stone commonly called rhyolite. It measures 3.7 cm long, 2.55 cm wide, and 0.6 cm thick. This model was constructed by David Cranford with 60 photos using the Agisoft Metashape software. (致谢:NCDNCR/OSA) 数据来源:Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
