This dataset contains experimental survey data collected from 296 participants examining how chatbot attributes influence tourists’ cognitive and emotional trust, as well as their visit intention. The data were obtained using a pre-test and post-test design with treatment and control groups and include measurements of perceived quality, perceived experience, trust dimensions, and behavioral intention. The dataset supports empirical analysis using PLS-SEM and experimental methods in tourism and human–AI interaction research.
