This archive contains data and code supporting the paper "Visual versus visual-inertial guidance in hawks pursuing terrestrial targets" by Kempton et al. The MATLAB code and raw data needed to perform the analyses in the paper are contained in the zipped folder kemptonEtAl2023FigshareDeposit.zip, as described in the README.txt. The results of the model fitting are contained in the tables in the CSV files independentFitOptima.csv and globalFitOptima.csv, which contain the root mean square error associated with each of the fitted models for each flight, where the model parameters are fitted to each flight independently or to all flights globally.
