Old-Growth Forest Bird Point Count Survey Data: Central Ridge Plot (2025)

This dataset contains observations from a one-time point count bird survey conducted on June 15, 2025, within a 100-hectare plot of old-growth temperate rainforest in the Central Ridge area. The purpose was to establish a baseline inventory of avian species richness and abundance for future monitoring programs. A total of 12 circular plots were sampled for 5 minutes each. This data table contains 120 records (10 records per plot) which are observation events of individual or flocks of birds.
